1. Start with Universal 3D template with Universal Render Pipeline
  2. File Build Profiles Platform switch to Android
  3. Edit Project Settings select XR Plug-in Management
    1. Install OpenXR Plugin
    2. Android settings select OpenXR
    3. Enabled Interaction Profiles: select the “+” icon and select “Meta Quest Touch Plus Controller Profile”
    4. Under OpenXR Feature Groups check the box for Meta Quest Support
  4. Windows Package Manager Packages:In Project
    1. Verify Unity OpenXR
    2. Install Meta XR SDK (interaction and core)
  5. Meta Tools Project Setup Tool
    1. Fix All
    2. Apply All

note: change package name for build file


  1. Delete default camera
  2. Select Meta XR Tools Building Blocks
  3. Add Camera Rig, Passthrough, and Hand Tracking
  4. Add Grab Interaction and move in front of camera
  5. Can add ground plane

use meta XR simulator to test
